Nate Hatting

Nate was born and raised in NW Iowa in the small town of Ocheyedan, with one older sister and one younger brother.  His parents were faithful to teach him God’s Word and example a life of faithfulness to the LORD.  It was not until spring break 2000, during his freshman year at Iowa State University, that Nate personally accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.  Having received a B.S. in Psychology from ISU in 2003, Nate has had a career in psychiatric rehabilitation at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines.  In 2001, Nate married his wife Sadie, whom he met while at ISU, and they now have 5 children (Creighton, Addyson, Tyson, Landon, Weston).  They have been members of this church since 2010.  Nate has served as Deacon for 6 years, has served in adult teaching, small group ministry and personal discipleship, completed a one-year Pastoral Internship at Anchor Baptist Church in 2021 and has now joined the ABC staff in a part-time position as Ministry Coordinator.  Nate continues to work part-time at Broadlawns Medical Center as well.
