Who is Anchor Baptist Church?

Welcome!  Anchor Baptist Church is a family of baptized believers in Jesus Christ committed to building one another up in love according to the instruction given in God’s Word, the Bible. As a body, we strive to glorify God by making disciples of all nations, beginning on the east side of Des Moines and extending across the world.

Our desire is that you would have a relationship with God through his Son Jesus Christ; and that you would connect with a local body of believers.  At Anchor Baptist Church, we encourage everyone to ‘Show Up’, ‘Help Out’ and ‘Invest In’.  We would love to have you gather with us on Sunday mornings at 8:30am and/or Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm!

We value and appreciate fellowship with churches of like faith and practice and therefore have chosen to associate with the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches and the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
