- God’s intent for creation is still very much operational—He still wants humans to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
- God is still very much sovereign over all of His creation—He isn’t primarily concerned with overpopulation or that man will destroy the earth
- God’s word still very much establishes the order of all life—it is supremely authoritative and clearly demonstrates what is to be expected
God, by His word, establishes (again) the ground rules upon which humanity is to function.
Man is not autonomous.
Man is responsible.
God entrusts to Noah and his sons (like Adam), His word, which He intended for them to communicate to subsequent humans and to encourage others to obey.
