"For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you....For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield."

In this psalm, David presents a stark contrast between the wicked and the righteous. Despite being the great king of Israel, David was still a common man (he started as a shepherd boy). Therefore, this psalm is very relatable. It is tangible. It easily connects to the grit of our reality.
I pray that my heart will always be led in God’s righteousness in fear of him, walking in the straight way before me (v.7-8), in a manner worthy of the LORD, fully pleasing to him (Colossians 1:10). I pray this will be true of you as well.
