"I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the LORD."

~ Psalm 104:33-34

In verses 1-4 and 31-35 the psalmist rejoices and calls for blessing to be given to the LORD.

In between is a version of the creation story; as well as a telling of the continuing, sustaining, sovereign love and provision that God has for all of his creation. Indeed, all things were created by him, are dependent on him, and he IS dependable. God is the faithful provider, protector and governor of all things. This psalm is so rich in its description of who God is and what he has done, that a worthy ‘reflection’ would be as long or longer than the psalm itself. So instead of offering any further expanded thoughts, I direct you to slowly read and meditate on Psalm 104, creating your own reflections.

See if you can identify the days of creation in the flow of this psalm, and try to connect other Scriptures that affirm, reiterate, validate or elaborate on what the psalmist proclaims.  Read and see who God is, what he has done and praise him for these things.  For this is the very heart of worship!
